How we handle your data

At MindMeds, we take your privacy seriously. We understand that your medication history is sensitive information and we want to assure you that your data is safe with us.

First and foremost, we do not store any of your data on our servers. Your medication information is stored exclusively on your client device, which means that you have full control over your data. We do not have access to your data and we do not share it with third parties.

However, we understand that you may want to store a backup of your medication information on your cloud storage for safekeeping. To make this process seamless for you, we use Google Sign-In to allow you to store your data securely in your Google Drive.

When you sign in with Google, we use the OAuth 2.0 protocol to authenticate you with Google and request permission to access your Google Drive. We only request permission to create a folder in your Google Drive and upload a backup file of your medication information. We do not request access to any other Google services or your Google account information.

Once you grant us permission, we use the Google Drive API to upload your backup file to your Google Drive. This process is done securely over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and your backup file is stored on your Google Drive, where you can access it anytime.

We want to emphasize that we take great care to ensure the security and privacy of your data. We understand that your data is personal and we want to give you the peace of mind that your data is safe with us.
